In 2014, The Gourmet Cuisine started as an off-premise catering company specializing in corporate events, private parties, weddings etc.
Whether it be a high-profile corporate event, or a backyard get-together with family and friends. We guaranteed to deliver mouth-watering cuisine that would have your attendees talking about your event for years to come.
Its massive success, however, was halted for a while due to the pandemic and was later re-launched in 2021 as a cloud kitchen based premium dessert shop selling Sri Lanka’s finest premium cakes and desserts.
We quickly became a customer favourite, making headlines in ‘The Morning’ newspaper for our one-of-a-kind creation: The DIG-IN Desserts — A multi-layered creamy, crunchy, and fudgy delight, consisting of a moist chocolate cake base, topped with signature fillings that complement one another.

SIGNATURE FUDGE CAKES
TGC’s gourmet cake is the definition of indulgence, a chocolate lover’s dream: Layers of rich, moist chocolate cake in a deliciously decadent chocolate frosting, generously topped with cashews that are toasted to perfection.
All our cakes are customizable; may it be the addition of a Nutella swirl or a minty cookie crumble layer or a delicious salted caramel touch — you name it, and we’ve got you covered!

This dig-in dessert is every chocolate lover’s dream come true! Layered with a gooey chocolate cake base together with a hot fudge sauce and a silky-smooth chocolate filling; not to mention being topped off with delicate white chocolate shavings, as well as special additions made for that much needed crunch factor, these made-from-scratch elements make digging into this dessert a sinfully indulgent chocolatey experience!
- The Mint Cookie Crumble
This dig-in dessert brings together the classic flavours of mint and chocolate and is perfect for all you mint-chocolate lovers. A decadent dark chocolate base, refreshingly minty filling, and a crunchy cookie crumble topping, makes this dessert a tub of super yummy and crunchy mint-chocolatey goodness.

This dig-in is a multi-layered fudgy chocolate cake-based concoction consisting of a smooth Nutella filling, topped off with a nutty “Ferrero” like chocolate crunch & buttery shortbread crumble. It’s guaranteed to leave you with an exquisite palatable experience!
